T H E R O A D T O G L O R Y■■■■■■■■■■ Roleplay Name: The Road To Glory Roleplay #: Character Development / Storyline Progression Characters Involved: Alexander Monroe Roleplay Type:
TBC Matthew Kraven Location: Secret Meeting with Matthew Kraven Current Outfit: Standard Tights ■■■■■■■■■■ Side Note: Best Viewed In Black Skin/Layout.:: Everyone had witnessed the little fiasco that Matthew Kraven had been having. First, he had been tossed around like a ragdoll and kidnapped and tortured by Psychotica. Now, he had been seemingly dethroned by his own flesh and blood; his brother. Alexander Monroe was no stranger to stabbing family members in his back. He had gotten his start in the United States by screwing his cousin out of a chance at a title he had dreamed about his whole life. Sneaking around behind the backs of others was one of his many skills. Now, he was a man who knew what he wanted, and he was blunt about things. Over the past few weeks, his personality had begun to show. Especially, in the absence of one Angelica James.
That night, after she had left his locker room he had sent a text to Matthew Kraven. The now 'dethroned' owner and operator of Full Force Pro wrestling. ::"Meet Me At Hankyu Before Event" :: The Hotel Hankyu International. One of the most luxurious in famed hotels in all of Japan. Alexander had taken the penthouse, and the next two levels before. Friends and Family, all coming to see him. But with friends and family came his father. The feint smile that had been settled upon his lips for long, slowly faded away. He had missed call from the man earlier in the day, and he had tried his damndest to ignore that. But such thoughts, such issues, would surely come to a head this week. But the week wasn't all that he was thinking of; no. Alexander wasn't a man to ignore the future, even when focusing entirely on a singular moment.
At Glory, Alexander Monroe would be challenging for the Television title. But was it because he wanted the belt? Was it because he thought it was the most famed prize in all of Full Force Pro. No. A simple and straight to the point answer. It was because he felt that Youth Gone Wild was getting a little too big for their britches, so to speak. It was because, he wanted to put the fear in the heart of whoever the champion was at the end of glory; Alexander Monroe is coming for you. Such thoughts, such strategies, they aroused him. As his shoulders pressed against the damp brick, he let his eyes close for a moment. He could see it in his mind, he could taste the man's blood. At Glory, he would emerge victorious.
But that wasn't what this little play date was about. No, Alexander wasn't a man who found friendships out of the need for companionship. No, he was a man who found friendships for connections. Matthew Kraven had come through for Alexander Monroe. He had granted him a shot at the Television title at Glory, and now it was time for Alexander Monroe to pay the piper. He had a feint idea what Matthew would be seeking, especially in such dire times for him. He didn't care for the little brother much, but then again he didn't care for most. He would of cared even less for Matthew, but he had come through on his word. Now, Alexander was many things, but at the head he was a trustworthy man.
In a rather twisted way, none the less. If some one scratched his back, he would make sure to scratch theirs. Sometimes, it wasn't in the way that had wanted it to be done, but he always made good on his word. Matthew Kraven, was about to become the proud recipient of a ticking time bomb, ready to mutilate the person in his path when he finally went off. ::▪▪ The Star Destroyer ▪▪ Alexander Monroe ► " I Knew you'd show..." Kraven thinks he may know the reasoning for the meeting, but he wanted to make sure. After extending his hand for a handshake, Kraven speaks.
Matt Kraven: Alexander, nice to see you man. Nice performance at Redemption. I can't wait to see how you fair in the J-Cup Tournament, and also the Television Title Match against Brandon Kincaide. You guys will definitely have the potential to tear the house down in Tokyo.
Kraven, who is already sitting, also gestures for Alexander to take a seat at the table.

:: Alexander didn't hesitate to take a seat. His body molding to the rather expensive seat. His arms resting above his head, fingers clasped behind his head. His eyes never leaving that of Matthew Kraven. ::
▪▪ The Star Destroyer ▪▪ Alexander Monroe ► " I'm glad you liked the match, because I'm not sure I liked the way things went down at the end of the show. If you get what I'm saying..."
:: He wasn't a fan of such 'takeovers', much like a small child he wasn't too good with change. He also wasn't too high on the fact that he had been left out of any of the major decisions made by Kraven's brother. The lucid lively hues danced upon Matthew, a smirk pulling at the corner of his lips. He was sure Matthew wasn't too high on what had happened at the end of the show either. ::
▪▪ The Star Destroyer ▪▪ Alexander Monroe ► " I'm sure you're not either, and you came through on your word. So I'm here to come through on mine, as I'm also sure you know I'm not just after the Television title..."
:: No, that was too small. That wasn't a big enough show of raw aggression and pure domination. He didn't care about the glory that came with such things, he didn't care about the lineage. He only cared that he would destroy those around him. He would bury their dreams under six feet of their own blood and dirt. He would read them a eulogy composed of their words against Alexander Monroe that would fail to pass. He would show them all the power of unbridled chaos and aggression. But he would also show them, the power of strategy. ::
▪▪ The Star Destroyer ▪▪ Alexander Monroe ► "This brother of yours, he doesn't sit well with me. He doesn't fit into my plans, and I don't think he fits into yours either..."
:: He had no plans of keeping the Television title once he won it. He would wear it proudly but for a moment, before tossing it down on the corpse of his fallen opponent. Like the week before, he aimed to send a message at Glory. A message, that he hoped that the other two singles title holders would hear; your time is running out. ::
▪▪ The Star Destroyer ▪▪ Alexander Monroe ► "I can make Psychotica's antics look like child's play, Matthew. I can make that man fall to his knees and cry. I'll make him wish that he had never been a sparkle in your parent's eyes. All you have to do is say the word...
Take it away Matthew!

Kraven smiles, obviously liking what he heard from Alexander. He leans back in his chair for a minute, thinking about what Alexander had said.
Matt Kraven: Well Alexander, I appreciate it, but let's keep that on hold for just a little while. I think I have my own plans for my little brother. Besides, he's been a pain in my ass for as long as I can remember, and I need to finally teach him a lesson. But if anything turns out going the wrong way...you'll be the first person I call...and I'm sure, after that call, I won't have to call anyone else.
Kraven obviously admires Alexander. He knows that Alexander has the passion, the drive, and the abilities to become the World Champion. Matt always wanted to become the World Champion of a big, important federation, but never got to accomplish that dream. Although he had become World Champion in a couple of different federations, they were never as big, or as important as Full Force Pro. Matt would be rather content with Alexander becoming the World Champion in FFP, and Matt even thought he could have a chance to live vicariously through him.

:: That slanted smirk rested on his chiseled face, as he gazed at Matthew. He wouldn't waste any more of the man's time, as he was quite sure he was trying to assess the damage that had been caused by his little brother. But at the same time he knew that the seed had been planted. Alexander would be lying if he hadn't said that he didn't respect Matthew Kraven. It was something he didn't throw around lightly, and it was something he admitted even less to another. Pressing his hands to the table, he stood and offered the man a smile. ::
▪▪ The Star Destroyer ▪▪ Alexander Monroe ► " You have my number, don't hesistate. I love getting my hands dirty..."
:: He stood, and instantly his gaze turned towards a man garnished in a rather tasteful suit. He motioned with his index and middle finger, and a bottle of Jägermeister was handed to him. He showed no reply, verbally nor physically. He simply spun the top off of the bottle and tossed it on to the ground, as he marched away... ::
