(The scene opens inside a small, dark room. Not much light, except a small over head light, just above a dark table. Sitting on the table, the original Full Force Pro Television Title. There is a person behind the table, and although we all can assume who it is, we wait, as the figure is not quite in view of the light yet. They finally scoot in to the table, and we see, Simply the Best member Caleb Newstead. Newstead is wearing a black t-shirt, and a black leather watch. As far as the rest of the outfit, we can not see.)
Caleb Newstead: Hello all, my name is Caleb Newstead. I am a Full Force Pro Hall of Famer, a former Television Champion, undefeated in combat here in FFP, and apparently, myself and my stable, didn't live up to the hype that others made for us. Apparently, the talent now, is so much better than it was back in the original run of FFP. Apparently, Daniel Matthews, Caleb Newstead, Christopher Morgan, Brandi Moore, Taylor Clawson, Veronica Clyne, Devon Thomas, Ricker, and all the other originals, weren't as good as the wrestlers that are there now. Apparently, Psychotica is better. Apparently, Jason Burgess, the YouTube mark is better. Apparently, Mike Grier is better. Apparently the original era of Full Force Pro, is dead and gone. And the originals just won't be able to cut it anymore.
(Newstead looks down, peering at the shiny gold from the Television Title that he had won so many months ago. He then looks up at the camera, and smiles.)
Caleb Newstead: Bullshit. You guys may think that Christopher Morgan and I have lost it. You may think that when we come to Detroit Friday night, that we are going to lose. And that very well could be the case. But then again, we could come in there, and just like the old days, we could dominate, and walk out the FFP Tag Team Champions.
(Caleb now runs his fingers over the Television Title, looking down at it, then looking back up at the camera.)
Caleb Newstead: I've heard, that we came in, and rubbed people the wrong way. We came in, saying we were the shit, and now, I guess everyone thinks that we are not. Well, I guess we'll just have to see, come Friday night. And even if we don't walk out of Detroit as the FFP Tag Team Champions, we're going to stick around, and see just what happens. You see, this title right here, is the original FFP Television Title. I was the original FFP Television Champion. And guess what, no one beat me for this title. FFP closed down, and I still had the title. I don't think that you can be undefeated, holding the company's Television Title, and yet not be able to live up to the hype. So here we go...Friday night, good luck to all involved. Good luck to Psychotica, good luck to Cody Carlson. Good luck to Jessie Clinton, Genocide, and Rori and Serena. Friday night is when we'll all have to put up, and shut up. Friday night we'll all step into that ring, and we'll prove what exactly we can do. Does Simply the Best still have it? Is Simply the Best washed up? Are they never-wases? I guess we'll find out. But just to let you guys know...you doubters...you little pricks who had to come out and try to bust our balls, and say that we were garbage...thank you. Thank you for waking us up. Thank you for opening up our eyes, and reminding us that we are in the best wrestling promotion in the world, and that we need to step our game up, and prove that we do belong in the Hall of Fame. Friday night, is going to be one hell of a night. And at the end of that night, I think I know exactly what is going to happen...but I'm just going to let you all tune in, and see it for yourselves.
(The camera continues to film, as Caleb pushes the chair out from the table, and stands. He grabs the Television Title, and drapes it over his shoulder. He stares into the camera. But it's not the typical cocky look that Caleb gives. Now, it's a look of determination. A look of focus. Caleb Newstead is focused. He is ready. And there is only one way to find out, if he will be able to prove that Simply the Best is exactly what they say they are...tune in Friday night.)
